If I were single, I would be a crazy cat lady. To be honest, even now I am borderline crazy cat lady. Whenever I visit my parent’s house, one of the first things I update them on is how my cats are doing and if they have developed any new tricks or habits (one is currently obsessed with the bathtub and the other LOVES to play fetch). The first thing I do when I come home to the apartment after a day out is give each of them a hug and a kiss, because really, they are my babies. I cannot help it, I was raised to love animals, and especially cats.
Okay, I’m just going to clear the air now… I don’t really care for chocolate. Please don’t hate me or judge me. I will eat it every couple months when I get an odd craving, but for the most part I just don’t like it. I find it bitter and it makes me feel almost nauseated when I eat it. That being said, I have a crazy sweet tooth. If you put a cheesecake (or any cake, TBH) in front of me, I will not stop eating it until I make myself sick. While I am not a fan of chocolate or many candies, give me any sort of baked good or pastry item and I am all over it. As someone who is gluten intolerant, having a sweet tooth has become my greatest weakness, because there aren’t many gluten free options AND most gluten free desserts really aren’t that great. On top of all of that, over the past month I have been trying to cut back on my sugar intake which makes having a sweet tooth even harder. I was watching a fitness vlogger the other day (Sarah’s Day, check her out!) and she mentioned raw vegan desserts. Knowing I had similar diet preferences to her’s, I immediately went to Pinterest to check it out.
First I would like to say, Welcome! If you know me at all you are probably aware that 1.) I hate writing and 2.) I REALLY like to rant. So of course I have a love/hate relationship with this new project of mine. If you haven’t caught on by now, my new project is a blog. This blog. Why am I starting a blog when I hate writing? I have realized over the past four months that I have learned so much about myself and my interests, and on top of that, I have a lot of insight that I have gained throughout my short twenty-one years of life that I want to share with you and with everyone. I hope that in the next couple minutes, while you read this, you will get to know me just a little more and hopefully we can all learn from this.
